More about Kerstin

Hello, my name is Kerstin, I was born in cologne on the 13th November 1992 – I’m 15 years old. I changed a lot since this day but I’m still living in cologne – can’t go away, I love this town.

At the moment I’m in class 9, Erich Kästner-Gymnasium. Well… I think I have to tell something about school: My favourite lessons are English and German. I love English, the reason for this is, I reckon, my teacher. She’s lovely. And, of course, that my favourite books are in English – guess which books I mean. They are awesome in English, there’s nothing better than original books in the original language – without translation. I love German because of my mum. Honestly, I can’t change who I am. She’s a good essay-writer and so I got this talent from her. Well… I like writing. Much. Very much.

When I’ve got some free time I’m reading in nine of ten cases. Of course my favorites are Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse – in English, of course. I got in contact to the books the first time because of a friend of mine, who gave me the german version saying “This is my bible, take care of it”. And so I’ve read it, two times. But then I had to give it back to her but I got book 2 instead. Quite an unfair deal, isn’t it? I had to give away 51o pages Edward and got way too much Jacob. You see who’s my favourite – oh, I love Edward!

But Jacob doesn’t matter, book 2 was great, too. I couldn’t wait to get Eclipse, but I thought I wouldn’t understand one word if I’d read it in English. I was wrong.

One of my best friends, Enya, quoted some scenes, for example the camping-scene (Edward: “Dream about it” – Oh, I love it!). I couldn’t wait ‘til it would be translated so I run to the next bookstore and bought it. And I was euphorically – Edward & Bella’re going to marry (and if they don’t I will kill Stephenie Meyer on my very own, just warning)! But then there were some parts I was really getting sick (Jacob kissing Bella) and there were some parts I was really laughing about (“You broke my hand!”).

And what am I doin’ now? Now I’m waiting for the film, hoping, that’ll come out soon. Somebody told me, that the date is set (12. December 2oo8) but when’ll it come out in germany? Dunno. I’m hoping that I’ll get the chance to go to a cinema that’s showing the english film when it’s new. I don’t want to have to wait until they translated it into german – they’ll need years for this, I swear.

While waiting on movie and book 4 I’m writing on some FanFictions (somewhere on this homepage). And I’m writing on a novel called “Cavien – the Shadowhunters”.

That’s all I have to say about Edward, Bella and my writing.

Is there something left I’m doing in my free time? Well… listening to Linkin Park, I think. I was on their concert on 21. January 2oo8 and it was great! No, it was better. Can’t put it into words.

Besides Linkin Park I like to listen to Within Temptation (the song “Forgiven” fits with Bella & Edward, don’t you think?), Evanescence, Nirvana, Fall out Boy, Panic! at the disco and so on.

Welll… can’t think of something else. But when there’s a little text about me I should use it to greet my friends: There’s my best friend and ‘wife’ Nicole from Berlin, called Terra. I love her so much but since she’s got a boyfriend it’s not quite the same (because she’s just talking about him – I do like him, but I want to talk about some other topics…). Oh, of course, there’s Enya, called Wuschel, my ‘girlfriend’ and in a different way best friend. I’m writing an amazing story with Sara, don’t forget Ans – you can do loads of stuff with her, and I can’t remember all those who I love. I’m sorry that I’m forgetting you, please forgive me, but it’s late.
